Our Story


In 2016, Zoe-Maia left her career behind to follow her passion for mindful movement with her mission to empower as many people as possible to become stronger, healthier and happier through the practice of Pilates.

She is passionate about spreading the message that exercise should not be used as a punishment, a moment of ‘good’ to undo the ‘bad.’ Instead, once you find exercise you love, moving your body in a way that feels good becomes a part of your lifestyle, one that you enjoy and one that you look forward to, and we can’t wait to welcome you on board.

Pilates is all about feeling good and moving in a way that’s kind to our mind and body. We’ll be with you every step of the way.

Our Experience

Zoe-Maia trained as a Holistic Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and began her Pilates teacher training with Balanced Body in 2017, completing her 250 hour qualification, a contemporary method of Pilates.

Through further self practice and being inspired to learn more, she trained in the classical Pilates method at Pi Battersea in 2018 under the guidance of Holly Murray. Since then, she’s also trained in Pre & Post Natal Pilates at Body Control Pilates and Small Pilates Equipment.

Her Pilates classes combine over a thousand hours of teaching, training and education to create her unique Maia Well Co. method. A method she truly believes is sustainable, transformational and most of all, enjoyable.
